STORAGE & WINTERIZATION PRICING
2008 AND FORWARD

ALL BOAT KEYS MUST BE LEFT IN BOAT OR DROPPED OFF AT SERVICE DESK OR A HOT WIRE FEE WILL BE CHARGED. CUSTOMERS MUST EMPTY PORTA-POTTIE, WE WILL NOT EMPTY PORTA-POTTIE FOR ANY REASON

I/O – INBOARDS
THE FOLLOWING STEPS ARE DONE TO PREVENT FREEZE

  • Add gas stabilizer to fuel tank. Treatment up to 30gallons—additional to treat more
  • Fog cylinder of motor with appropriate storage oil.
  • When fogging motor fuel will be run out of carb (not EFI.)
  • Replacement of fuel & water separator filter at no extra charge—otherwise water will freeze & crack filter.
  • Drain water from power steering cooler.
  • Drain water from block of motor & fill with non-toxic anti-freeze
  • Change lower unit oil. No extra charge for Hi Pro Oil, I.V. bottles, Volvo Dual Prop Drive & Bravo II – Bravo II, Bravo III Drive.
  • Change fill & vent seals on drive at no extra charge.
  • Grease all external fittings on outdrive.
  • Clean flame arrestor on carb. – No extra charge.
  • Check &  top off levels of oil in the following: power trim & tilt, power steering, power trim tab & transmission oil on straight inboards at no extra charge.
  • Remove bilge plug from boat.
  • All boats serviced will have Damp-Always put in them to control mildew growth in boat at no extra charge.
  • Check motor oil for moisture and condition

BATTERY STORAGE IS AS FOLLOWS:  

  • BATTERY STORAGE IS FREE
    • Batteries are left in boat & disconnected.
      NOTE: Battery Manufacturers recommend storing a fully charged battery so it will not freeze

BATTERIES REMOVED FOR CUSTOMER PICK UP:   NOTE: $25.00 fee per battery to remove from boat.

  • Boats by water- battery must remain in boat until the boat is removed from water.
  • Customer must supply battery for installation and summerization in the spring or an additional $25.00 fee for summerization will apply. We will not install batteries after summerization has been completed.

  • Run motor with special winterizing solution.                          
  • Run carburetors until out of fuel.
  • Grease all fittings on motor.
  • Change lower unit oil.
  • Add gas stabilizer to fuel tank.
  • Remove bilge plug from boat.
  • Top off all oil injection tanks to prevent moisture build up
  • All boats serviced will be treated with Damp Away at no charge.
